Turn off Automatic iOS Updates to iOS 26

If you are still using iOS 18, we highly recommend turning off Automatic iOS Updates to prevent accidentally updating your device to iOS 26.

How to turn off Automatic Updates

  1. Open iOS Settings → General → Software Update → Automatic Updates
  2. Set both “iOS Updates” switches to OFF under the Automatically Install and Automatically Download sections.
