Can I run shortcuts instead of opening apps from the Home Screen?

Yes, Dumb Phone supports running shortcuts from the Home Screen as if you were tapping an app to open it.

  1. Open Dumb Phone → Launcher Apps → Add More → Add Custom App

  2. Enter a name for the Custom App → Next (this is the name that will appear in Dumb Phone, not the shortcut name to run)

  3. Select "I don't know its URL Scheme"

  4. Under Step 1, rename the pre-existing name to the actual shortcut name, then tap "I have set up the shortcut"

  5. Select the created Custom App on the Add Apps screen

  6. Return to the Home Screen and tap the custom app to run the shortcut.
